Here at Ardor we are obsessed with a good lippie because for us it has the power to heighten our confidence. Below we share some of our favorites from a great gloss to a matte lipstick. We have included our favorite shades, which tend to be on the more neutral pinky end, but if you are looking for something different still check these products out! We share these products because the formulation is the best we have come across.

1. A good lipliner (aka base for your lip look) can transform a lip look. Marc Jacobs (P)outliner Longwear Lip Pencil in nudist is the BEST nude liner on the market. This

liner enhances the lips and matches any lip gloss and lip stick.

2. This gloss is THE gloss you will carry on you at all times. Whether you choose to line your

lips with the Marc Jacobs (P)outliner Longwear Lip Pencil in nudist, swipe it on top of your

favorite lip stick, or wear it alone you will fall in love. The Dior Addict Lip Maximizer

Plumping Gloss in shade 012, Rosewood, is amazing because it contains hylaronic acid

for intensified hydration. From personal experience, you will not see "Two Faced Lip

Injection" results, but the hydration, lasting wear, color, and incredible look this gives the

lips is unlike any other.

3. A trusty clear gloss is a make up bag essential. After years of trial and much error (too

sticky, too dull, etc.) we have found a holy grail. Glossier's clear gloss applies nicer than

any other and does NOT dry out the lips.

4. If you haven't heard all the rage of this one... you may have been living under a rock!!

Charlotte Tilbury is known for the "Pillow Talk" collection. The "Pillow Talk" shade is

so amazing because it looks great on everyone. This collection gets even better as the

holidays roll around because they bundle up the all time favorites and sell them all

together making it the perfect stocking stuffer.

5. It is hard to find a matte lippie that won't dry out your lips, but BITE Beauty's Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon passes the test! For bold color we gravitate towards the pinky nude shade, Leche.

6. Again, with the holiday season around the corner everyone is on the hunt for gift

ideas. Wether you're looking to splurge on yourself or give a luxurious gift to your

bff/beauty enthusiast this one's for you. YSL's Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Balm

instantly stands out due to its luxurious packaging. This product is great for a few reasons

including the multitude of shades offered and its buildable formula. This lippie is buildable

which makes it a easy day to night transition. Our go to is a spicy rose shade,

Rose Afrique.

7. NYX Butter Gloss is a long time make up fanatic favorite. From the truly "buttery"

formulation to the extensive line of shades we really don't see why this isn't already in your

make up bag, purse, car, work bag, gym bag, etc..... Oh and did we mention it is $5 and

can be found at any drug store or your local Ulta. Our top shades are Fortune Cookie for a

glazed light nude coloring and Tiramisu for a darker pinky look.
