A Spoonful of Sugar

I am no stranger to sugar in fact I eat something sweet every day, but as we all know TOO MUCH sugar can be a negative thing. Too much sugar consumption leads to a long list of issues one being poor skin health, such as acne. If your relationship is as intimate, if you will, with sugar as mine is and you're looking to change that this post is for you.
A few tricks to help cut down your sugar consumption and aid in eliminating the cravings:
Eat your sweet treat at the same time every day.
Aim to eat natural sweets, such as fruit.
Don't drink your sugar.
This isn't everyone’s issue, but if you're suspicious that sugar has been having an impact on your skin cutting down on your consumption may be the golden ticket to clear skin. Personally, when I have too much sugar I often wake up with much unwanted breakouts on my face. Sugar affects the body's hormones and inflammation which are two major causes of acne. Why not try cutting down for a week or two and see what happens? Let's start this journey to clear skin together!
Moral of the story... Enjoy sugary treats as you wish but be mindful.
